Zachary D. Wechsler provides clients with a full range of legal services including business and employment consultation, mediation, litigation, and appeals. He has represented clients before Administrative Panels, Trial and Appellate Courts and provided mediation services to non-client parties who are interested in alternative dispute resolution.
As part of his business law practice, Mr. Wechsler has helped firms and individuals resolve all their legal concerns from entity choice and corporate filings through contract negotiations, business and employment disputes.
He also has extensive experience helping clients with DUI defense and other DMV matters, has brought matters before the California Horse Racing Board and represented both individuals and entities before many other state and local boards and agencies.
As a former attorney member of the California Committee of Bar Examiners, Mr. Wechsler is also available to consult with and represent applicants seeking admission to the California State Bar.
Mr. Wechsler is a former Deputy Attorney General for the State of California. He was appointed to the Committee of Bar Examiners by the Board of Governors of the State Bar of California from 2000 through 2004. A Los Angeles County Superior Court certified mediator, Mr. Wechsler also serves on the mediation and arbitration panels of the Los Angeles County Superior Court and is a member of the Southern California Mediation Association. He also serves on the California Appellate Project, a court sponsored program for indigent defendants.
Mr. Wechsler received his law degree, cum laude, from Loyola Law School where he received the American Jurisprudence Awards in Legal Writing and Corporations. He was the recipient of the Faculty Academic Honors Scholarship, served ad Vice President of the St. Thomas Moore Honor Society and was a member of the venerable legal fraternity, Phi Delta Phi.
He is a member of the of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Santa Monica Bar Association; the Southern California Mediation Association, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Culver City Marina del Rey Bar Association and the LAX/Westchester/MDR Chamber of Commerce.
He is admitted to practice before the California State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
